Raised in the Bronx during the 80s and 90s, Dee drew inspiration from New York’s vibrant contrasts—the city’s eclectic blend of culture, grit, and sophistication ran through her veins. Thriving in its energy, where the seedy and the refined coexisted, it fueled her imagination left an indelible mark on her creative instincts. Whether exploring the wonders of art, nature, or the city streets, Dee cultivated a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, beauty, and exploration.

After earning a degree in Interior Design, Dee started her career remodeling homes, commercial spaces, and while also designing bespoke furniture. But the hands-on nature of working with raw, industrial materials soon pulled her in a different direction—toward crafting leather accessories and handbags.

Dee’s early designs quickly gained recognition, appearing in top fashion publications like WWD Monday, WGSN, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, Who What Wear, and Refinery29. Her work was also spotted on the arms of celebrities, cementing her reputation as a rising talent in the industry.

She has since helped shape emerging brands like TRUSS NYC and Embrazio, and collaborated on projects with industry leaders including Anthropologie, Free People, Will Leather Goods, Williams Sonoma, Carmen Rion, and Sabor Mexicano.
